Mijumaru

Finally! My first submission since, well last year! This is one of the new 5th generation pokemon starters, Mijumaru! He is so adorable, I don't know how people can hate him so much. He's a sweet little otter! I've always had a special spot for otters. Anyways when the new Black and White games come out (next year D: ) I'm totally going to have him as my starter, which is actually kinda strange for me.

Choices of Starters
1st Gen - Charmander (fire)
2nd Gen - Cyndaquil (fire.. Typhlosion=epic win)
3rd Gen - Torchic (fire.. see a pattern starting)
4th Gen - Chimchar (suprise! fire again!)
5th Gen - Mijumaru (WATER! What happened! )

Fire is my favorite pokemon type but who couldn't love having an otter pokemon for a starter? I can't wait for the new games! To bad they aren't expected till next year! More information on Pokemon: Black and White can be found here --> [link]

Anyways.. on the the artwork. As you can probably tell (really you can see it) my drawing has improved quite a bit since my last submission. However I really wish I knew how to shade with my (and my sisters, we share them) new Prismacolor colored pencils. They are different, and not like colored pencils I'm used to so I haven't figured out how to shade with them yet. Oh well, just need to practice.
